New organization of the archive of geological and topographic maps in room 1/-102 (Kartenraum, Jurakeller) [since March 2008].

The NMB holds a large number of old geological and topographical maps, most of them related to paleontological or geological collections held in the NMB. These maps are stored in Lista-units in the "Jurakeller", which are labelled from 1 through 17. Each Lista-unit has drawers, which are labelled, too, see further below. Map rolls, that cannot easily be deposited in drawers, are stored in Jumbo-boxes, see further below.
