Two boxes of thin sections from the sections described in the paper.

Alongside deposited with the collection are aerial photos and geological interpretations of the area Seefeld-Sieben Hengste, outcrop fotos Schrattenkalk from the Niederhorn and Balmholz, a photopanoramic view of the SE side of the Justis Valley, a photopanoramic view seen from the Gemmenalphorn towards the NE (Hohgant), and a photopanoramic view of the NW side of the Justis Valley.

Martin A. Ziegler's "pocket collection", prepared in 1961
This is a training set for the identification of microfossils, mainly benthic and planktic foraminifera, and with one slide about ostracods. These preparations were for purposes of applied biostratigraphy. The set for planktic foraminifera comprises five slides (Plummer cells numbered as 0, I, II, III, and IV) with isolated specimens from Cretaceous through Cenozoic species that are useful for biostratigraphy and/or paleoenvironmental interpretation. This "pelagics set" includes identification lists to the above slides, and a card catalogue containing information about the provenance of samples.

The set of benthic foraminifera (some with plankic foraminifera as well) consists of a larger number of Plummer cells containing isolated specimens of selected taxa, together with an identification key and a well illustrated description to genera. For each group there is a plate with drawings. The number on the slide refers to those plates and to the figure on a particular plate. Example: Field 13 on Slide 17b corresponds to Figure 13 (Spiroloculina) on Plate 17.

Included is also a set of thin-sections showing various stratigraphically useful foraminifera.

Taxonomy and identification concepts follow those described in Loeblich, A.R., Tappan, H., Beckmann, J.P., Bolli, H.M., Montanaro Gallitelli, E., and Troelsen, J.C. (1957). Studies in Foraminifera. United States National Museum Bulletin 215, Smithsonian Institution, Washington. D.C.
