This is a collection of bulk sediments and washed residues from Holocene to Pleistocene cores taken around Barbados (cruise E-10-70), and sent to H.M. Bolli in 1973 for datation.

Donated by HMB to the NMB in 1986.

 

Together with the materials is a documentation about the Barbados Core Descriptions from R/V Eastwards Cruise E-10-70 (January 27-February 4, 1970). Preliminary range charts of Holocene to Pleistocene planktic foraminifers from the various cores from Cruise E-10-70. Two map with core locations. Included is the correspondence between Paul Thayer and H.M. Bolli.

A xerox copy of the paper of Cleary et al. (1984) is deposited with the collection.
