Type and reference collection to Bolli, H.M. (1966). The planktonic foraminifera in well Bodjonegoro-1 of Java.

The collection has the holotypes to Globorotalia mohleri Bolli and to Globigerinoides emeis Bolli, and other picked species in Fema-cells. Furthermore, there are three trays with slides containing picked assemblage slides of planktic foraminifera (101m to 2025m), residues of cores in phials, depths in meters, and a range chart showing the stratigraphic distribution of the assemblages in well Bodjonegoro-1 from the Lower Miocene (Globigerinatella insueta Zone) to the upper Pliocene (Globorotalia tosaensis Zone).

There is additional material in the study collections of H.M. Bolli from Bodjonegoro-well 1 (collection of residues in single slides; collection of small core samples for nannoplankton research from 210-2025 cm), see below.

The Bodjonegoro-1 well can be considered as the Indonesian type section for Miocene through Pliocene planktonic foraminiferal biostratigraphy, see Courteney, S. (1995). Sequence stratigraphy applied to hydrocarbon productive basins of western Indonesia. Geological Society of Malaysia, Bulletin 37, July 1995, pp. 363-394.
