- Residues and unwashed portions for all samples collected
by H.M. Bolli in July 1956 from the Cretaceous and Tertiary from
Alabama and Texas. Samples include numbers Bo 541 - Bo 591 (T.L.L.
numbers 248'298 to 248'348). Enclosed with the material is a
sample list and description from the Trinidad Oil Company Report
No. 9413 pp. 1-11 (unpublished, dated as from 7th February 1958).

- The collection takes reference to E.H. Rainwater (1955). Tertiary type
localities (Vicksburg, Oligocene; Jackson, upper Eocene; Claiborne,
Middle Eocene; Wilcox, Lower Eocene; and Midway, Paleocene) of
Mississippi and Alabama. In Guides to Southeastern Geology, pp.

- Residues and unwashed portions in glass vials collected by
H.G. Kugler from type localities and other areas in Alabama and
Mississippi. Samples include Kugler numbers K10858 - 10886. The
collection contains two additional boxes with assemblage slides
from samples K10858-10874 and from K10874-10886.

- Stop numbers indicated on some of the vials correspond to
the type localities field trip guide by E.H. Rainwater (1955). Tertiary type
localities (Vicksburg, Oligocene; Jackson, upper Eocene; Claiborne,
